Skiddaw View Holiday Park is an award winning holiday park situated in a secluded and delightful setting on the outskirts of Bassenthwaite, in the northern Lake District, Cumbria. The twenty-acre park is nestled into the hillside with panoramic views of the mountain of Skiddaw and the northern fells. Our holiday homes and lodges are set in landscaped grounds and surrounded by open countryside. Trees and shrubs have been thoughtfully planted to provide holiday homes with privacy. While the majority of our holiday homes and lodges are privatley owned, we do also have a small section of holiday caravans and lodges for hire. The park provides easy access to the market towns of Cockermouth and Keswick (approx. 10 and 15 mins drive respectively) as well as the western Lake District and Solway Coast, we are within 30 minutes drive of the Great Border City of Carlisle and, and within an hour you can reach the Lake District hot-spots of Bowness on Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere.
